Love Lock's

A love lock or love padlock is a padlock which people lock to a bridge, fence, gate, or similar public fixture to symbolize their love. Typically the sweethearts' names or initials are inscribed on the padlock, and its key is thrown away to symbolise unbreakable love.

I think this idea is fantastic and it is a lovely sentiment for families, couples and friends. I would love to explore the idea of using padlocks to lock in memories/relationships. I will explore this throughout my project as I think it will link in well with the whole idea of memories and attaching labels to thinks.
